interesting....I would class that as more of a flower than a tree....but its very pretty all the same :)

yeah, it's a flowering tree. Usually it blossoms in the spring - they're just gorgeous when they're in full bloom. anyone know if they have these in NZ?

yeah, Esther - I know it wasn't you. You always sign your name! :-) it's funny....I've noticed that in NZ the general concensus of trees is that they block views and their a nusiance. In America, it's generally felt that the more trees one has on their property, the better. Gross generalization, I know....

So the question remains - do they have dogwoods in NZ?

thanks, michelle! i guess even if there are no dogwood trees, it's not to shabby to have a palm tree in my yard! :-)

I'd say you're doing quite well to have a lemon tree! do you like lemon mirangue pie? I do know a Billy here...don't know if she's the same Billy you're talking about! I don't know her that well, but from what I know of her, she seems to be awesome. :-)

ooh....send 'em all our way! :-) I love lemons....but I suppose I'd never be able to use a whole tree of 'em. Yeah, Billy is an awesome drummer...really sweet spirit, too.
